• Gap Year is a 9-month discipleship program focused on the whole Bible, whole person, and whole world.

Gap Year is for college-aged adults, 18-25, who are passionate about following Jesus and want to be equipped to serve in the church and lead in the world.

Radiant Church pastors and leadership staff will take on the majority of the teaching, along with a few key speakers from around the country.

  • Topics will include: Hearing God’s voice, biblical worldview, personal and spiritual health, spiritual gifts, faith in the marketplace, world missions, spiritual disciplines, teaching and preaching, and a daily study through the entire Bible.
  • There will also be extended time for worship and personal ministry time.
  • September to May.
  • Classes will run from 8:30am to 4pm, Monday through Thursday.
  • Students will also serve on Sunday mornings and have occasional evening meetings. 

Yes, there will be a cross-cultural trip either in the Fall or Spring Term.

Yes, community living is a key part of Gap Year. It allows you to build strong friendships and gives you a place to practice what you’re learning.

2023-2024 Tuition is $4,600

Tuition covers classes, books, course materials, out-of-town speakers, and housing. You will want to budget $200-$300 a month for meals.

You may choose from one of three payment plans:

  • Option 1: Full payment by August 4 – $4,370 (5% off)

  • Option 2: 15% down by August 4 – $690 and 8 monthly payments  – $488.75 (Sep-Apr)
    • 5% off total tuition if all payments are made on time (final payment will be discounted)
  • Option 3: 30% down by August 4 – $1,380 and 8 monthly payments – $402.50 (Sep-Apr)
    • 5% off total tuition if all payments are made on time (final payment will be discounted)

Gap Year 2 is designed for leadership development as you serve as a student leader and participate in a church-based internship focused on community outreach. Year 2 is a perfect opportunity for you to use what you received from participating in Year 1.

Admissions to GY2 is open to all students who have graduated GY1 and completed the following three requirements; Good financial standing in GY1, GY2 application and response questions and two letters of support. The application deadline is June 2, 2023.
