Situated in the heart of the Central Valley, Gap Year is a 9-month discipleship program that will focus on deepening your understanding of the Bible, addressing the hurts and hangups in your life, and catching a vision of what God is doing in the church, both locally and across the world.

The Christian life is not meant to be lived alone. We believe that we grow best in community and so Gap Year students will live in community housing where they will have opportunities to cultivate lifelong friendships and practice what they are learning in the classroom. Each house will be led by a trusted staff member who will support students and provide an orderly living space.

We want to see students find their place in the local church and thrive while serving others. A key part of Gap Year will be an internship in which students will choose areas of interest and will be paired with a staff member in the church to help them develop ministry skills and practice their gifts.

God is up to something big all around the world. While we have a high value for the local church, we also don’t want to miss what God is doing globally. Students will get to travel and meet members of our wider family of churches and get a glimpse of what God is doing in other countries and cultures.
